What makes a corridor credible?

A credible infrastructure corridor requires more than available land or nearby transmission.

It must show that several systems can work together over time.

    Power must be deliverable to the required connection point. Transmission proximity alone does not prove capacity.

  • Land

    Land

    The land must be controllable, developable, and suited to the proposed use.

  • Planning

    Planning

    Local and regional planning permissions must support a realistic development path.

  • Infrastructure

    Infrastructure

    Water, transport, fibre, roads and supporting systems must be available or capable of expansion.

  • Rights holder

    Rights-Holder and Community Context

    The affected Nations, rights, interests and community priorities must be understood early.

  • Operator relevance

    Operator Relevance

    The corridor must respond to the real needs of credible users or operators.

  • Buildability

    Buildability

    The site and supporting infrastructure must allow for practical construction and phased delivery.

  • Timing

    Timing

    The development path must reflect real utility, permitting, servicing, and construction timelines.

  • Investability

    Investability

    The risks must be clear enough for technical, operating, and capital partners to assess.
